Aviation and Logistics Park
Clinton County Port Authority, Central Ohio Air Cargo & Logistics Park
The Clinton County Port Authority (Port Authority) was established in 2004 by the Clinton County Commissioners. The Port Authority is a special purpose government formed to operate transportation infrastructure and lead economic development efforts.
In 2010, with the assistance of the City of Wilmington, Clinton County and the State of Ohio, the Port Authority became the owners of the Wilmington Air Park, a premier aviation and logistics park. Approximately 1,500 acres were donated. Subsequently, the CCPA purchased available adjacent land bringing the total land mass of the aviation park to 1,900 acres. The aviation and logistics park includes a two-runway, fully functioning airport.
In 2019, the City of Wilmington, the Clinton County Board of Commissioners, the Wilmington Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) together with the Clinton County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, designated the Port Authority the Economic Development Agent for the County and City. It coordinates with the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC) and JobsOhio to retain and grow existing buisnesses, and to attract new businesses to the region. ChooseClintonCountyOH.org was launched in 2021 to highlight economic development opportunities in the area.
In 2020, the Port Authority celebrated its 10th Anniversary of Ownership of the Wilmington Air Park. Many thanks to all involved.
