Wilmington Schools
Wilmington School System is the largest district in Clinton County and encompasses 166 square miles that include the City of Wilmington and a number of townships. The graduation rate is 94% and 76% of graduates go on to college (the state average is 40%) In addition, 65% of teachers have a master’s degree. ACT scores consistently rank higher than the state and national average.
Clinton County Schools
The Clinton-Massie School System encompasses the major population center in Wilmington, Ohio. The Clinton-Massie School District earned the rating of “Excellent with Distinction” from the Ohio Department of Education. This distinction is based on academic success, attendance, drop-out rates and graduation rates. Clinton-Massie was the only district in Region 14 to meet all 26 standards and the only district in the region to earn the Excellent with Distinction Rating. The District has integrated technology into the classroom. The district has gone to a 1-to-1 program for net books for students in grades 6-12. Every student is given a net book to use for educational purposes.
Blanchester Local Schools
Blanchester Local Schools provides education to1,879 students in Blanchester, Ohio. The district includes 4 schools (2 elementary, 1 middle schools and 1 high school). The school district is ranked among the highest systems in Ohio. The graduation rate is 96% which exceeds the state average.
