Hare Quaker Heritage Center is dedicated to celebrating the history of the Religious Society of Friends. The Peace Resource Center features the largest depository of materials outside Japan relating to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki.
The world’s oldest and largest museum, The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright –Patterson Air Force Base, is open every day and free. Learn how Ohio helped foster the movement of slaves from the south during the Civil War at the Underground Museum at the Freedom Center. The Cincinnati Art Museum includes an extensive permanent collection of fine art.

And if you enjoy amusement parks, Kings Island is less than 25 minutes away. Just 12 miles from downtown Wilmington you can go back in time and enjoy 16th century jousting at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. You don’t have to go too far to find major league sports. Take in a game at the Cincinnati Reds or Cincinnati Bengals, all less than 45 minutes from Wilmington. In Dayton you can enjoy the AAA Dayton Dragons and collegiate sports
